Yesterday was a good Sunday. We began a two part series, Elements of our Faith. We talked about the meaning of communion. When we stop and think about the meaning of communion, it should make us more grateful about the price that was paid for our salvation.
Last night, we joined with Trinity Fellowship in Fayettevile for service. It was the dedication of their new building. What an impressive structure they have built for the glory of God!
This morning I was able to have breakfast with our District Superintendent. I enjoyed our fellowship and the wisdom that Pastor Moore shared with me. I always look forward to learning from ministers who have pastored for many years. I truly appreciate him taking time out of his busy schedule to share with me.
You are doing a great job writing your blog.
Yesterday we had a good service.
Pastor Woods preached from 1 Thess. 4:13-18 Behold He Comes! He gave a demonstration of the rapture – Jarrod blew the trumptet and a young man shouted and Pastor yelled Church COME FORWARD!!! What a time we had rejoicing.
Please pray for Bro. Woods and family. His mom Ava Woods went into Hospice House yesterday and doesn’t have much time left on this earth. Thank you for praying. Nancy
I am excited about what is doing in Silsbee. We will be praying for Pastor Woods and his family.
